Do I need a referral?

A referral is welcome but not required. If a dentist, orthodontist, physician, ENT, or other provider is involved, we can coordinate care and send updates with your consent.

What is Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy?

Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy is muscle retraining for the mouth, face, tongue, and breathing pattern. It focuses on restoring healthier oral posture, nasal breathing habits, swallowing function, and muscle balance.

What concerns do you commonly help with?

Common reasons people book include mouth breathing, snoring/unrefreshing sleep, jaw tension/clenching/grinding, clicking or limited opening, headaches/facial discomfort linked to muscle strain, orthodontic stability concerns, oral habits, and post-frenectomy exercise support.

What happens after the free consultation?

If you’re a good fit, the next step is a New Patient Exam (2 hours). This is a detailed assessment where we measure patterns and create a clear plan.

How often are appointments?

Most patients are seen every 2–3 weeks. This spacing supports learning, home practice, and steady progression.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes. Some appointments can be virtual depending on the goal and what needs to be assessed or coached.

Is Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy covered by insurance?

Coverage varies by plan. Many patients submit receipts to their insurer for possible reimbursement. We recommend checking directly with your provider.
